The 2010 World Cup will be hosted in South Africa from the 11th of June until the 11th of July 2010. Thirty two nations will be competing for the most coveted title in the world... Soccer World Champions.

The question is whether South Africa will be ready. In Germany they expected approximately half a million visitors but over two million arrived. South Africa is compared to the world cup which was hosted by Japan when two hundred and fifty thousand fans arrived.. The reason for this comparison is because both are long haul flights. The difference, however, is that South Africa will be much more affordable. One also has to take into consideration that it should be fairly easy for fans from other African countries to make the trip South.

Even with two hundred and fifty thousand soccer crazy fans there will probably be a shortage of about twenty thousand beds. What would happen if a million fans arrived?

The stadiums, highways and even the Gau-train should be ready well in advance. Security will also be a high priority. Accommodation for the 2010 world cup will probably be the biggest problem.

South Africa has upgraded some of their world famous Rugby stadiums which were used during the 1995 Rugby World Cup, like Loftus Versveld in Pretoria and Ellis Park stadium in Johannesburg. They also added a few new ones like the brand new Green point stadium as well as the Durban Stadium.

At Book SA Online we hope to help fans find the perfect spot to stay during the whole world cup tournament. Some fans only need a bed to sleep in and a nice hearty breakfast to counter the hangover whereas others want to make a trip out of it, enjoying the luxuries South African hospitality has to offer. Either way we believe we can help.

Choose between our econo stay packages and the more luxurious options on offer. Whatever you do, don't wait too long. If you leave this to the last minute you might regret it in the end.

Thank you for choosing Book SA Online to book your 2010 South Africa accommodation.
