The lodge is conveniently situated and designed for a relaxing time after a day of business or sight seeing. Continental breakfasts can be enjoyed around the pool, in the breakfast area or in the comfort of your own room. In order to ensure an enjoyable stay, our guests are offered daily newspapers, laundry service and transfers on request. Our own car rental service offers four different vehicles including a 4x4. Advice on tours and travel are available to interested guests. For your convenience a professional hairdresser is situated on the premises. A curio shop stacked with African art and semi precious stones makes shopping for the ideal gift a pleasure. Things to do:
Crocodile Lodge offers its guests a variety of day trips to Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounds. Relax and lounge around our pool side. Soak up the sun and enjoy the tranquil surroundings with our koi water features. The pool is adjacent to the outside dining area - boma - where light meals or a braai (BBQ African style) can be ordered. Or simply sip a sundowner while watching our abundant bird life, exotic ducks, geese and swans as well as our 17 resident crocodiles.
Local Attractions:
The Krugersdorp Game Reserve lies south west of Johannesburg near the picturesque town of Krugersdorp. At the Lion Park, observe close-up over 10 different species of antelope, Ostriches and of course at least 50 lions. Visit the South African Mint in Centurion and drive on to Pretoria.
Getting There:
Take the Olifantsfontein off-ramp off the N1. At the first traffic light turn right, cross the Pretoria Main road (R101) and turn right into Pitzer road. Turn left into George road, first gate on the right hand side is Crocodile Lodge.
